Team Synergy
To gain exposure to the Indian marketplace
and to have hands-on-experience in
all aspects of business, product & market development,
technology adoption & adaptation Mr. M.P.S. Puri
worked for 10 years for an internationally renowned
and large engineering group, Kirloskar-Klockner Humboldt
Deutz, Germany. His extraordinary efforts in developing
new markets and distribution network earned him out-of-turn
promotions. Thereafter, to sharpen his international
consulting skills he worked for 10 more years for a
European consulting firm as a business development consultant.
His knowledge & expertise in dealing with issues
related to working in a developing economy and his cross-sectoral
& cross-cultural experience greatly benefited his
clients i.e. SMEs & MNCs, international banks, government
& trade promotion organizations in concurrently
achieving market share & cost-effectiveness.
He applied his skills and global exposure
to introduce many new concepts, products and
technologies in India e.g. CAD+CAM, Unit Production
Systems, Low Cost & Eco Friendly Houses, Molecular
Distillation, Weather & Flame Proof Communication
Systems, Food Irradiation, Solid & Haz. Waste Management
Systems, Aesthetic Tensile Structures etc.
India's ambitious economic liberalization
programme and foreign investors' keen interest in the
newly opened Indian marketplace created a strong need
for efficient and cost-effective professional
services for market entry, business development and
troubleshooting. To meet this challenge, Mr. Puri in
synergy with his associates created 'Synergy
International' in 1995 at New Delhi.
Synergy's core strength is in market entry,
distribution network & sustainable business
development, cross-cultural business dynamics and diagnostics.
To understand and cope with the forces that are rapidly
changing today's market environment, he regularly travels
abroad to have intellectual interaction with scholars
and practitioners.
Mr. Puri is an active member of various
Chambers of Commerce and 'International Center for Alternative
Dispute Resolution'. He is the former member of the
'Technical Advisory Committee' of WEN, Wharton School,
USA and 'Expert Committee-Cum-Jury' of the National
Productivity Council, India. He was awarded the prestigious
'Ambassadorial Scholarship' to visit Brazil to promote
Social, Cultural and Commercial ties between
India and Brazil. Mr. Puri earned his post graduation
in engineering with merit position in 1975. He received
techno-commercial training at India, USA, Germany, France,
the Netherlands and Singapore.
His wife is developing a novel treatment
for Cancer. Having lived for many years on different
continents they have developed deep respect
and interest in other cultures and societies.Both
are incurable dreamers They have passion for people
and for leading efforts to achieve maximum community
impact.
